  1. With the Template Editor, you can add images like company logos, diagrams, and pictures to your Templates. You can place graphics saved in MacPaint, PICT, or EPS format, move them once they're placed, and resize them proportionally to fit the area.

  3. To place a graphic in a Template:

  5. 1. From the Template Editor window, click the Picture tool. A directory dialog box opens.

  7. 2. Locate and select the graphic you want to place in the Template. Now Contact allows you to place MacPaint, PICT and EPS graphics files.

  9. 3. Click Open. The pointer changes to a special picture cursor for placing your graphic.

  11. NOTE: When creating or modifying an Address Book, Label, Envelope or Contact List Template, move the cursor anywhere on the page to place the graphic. When creating or modifying a Letter, Fax or Contact Details Template, the cursor remains at the text insertion point.

  13. 4. Click to place the graphic. The graphic appears where you clicked. Note the handles at each of its four corners. These allow you to resize it by dragging.

  15. If you decide that you don't want to place a graphic after all, click a different tool. The pointer returns to its normal state.
